AT HOME WITH OLIVIA KARINA | V4.
Transitioning to ‘at home’ photo shoots was a recent pivot for us. A surprise benefit of this new format is that it allows us to interact with our models in a completely new way. By shooting (or directing them from afar) in their own spaces we've been able to get to know these women a little better and we thought you might enjoy getting to know them too. Meet Olivia Karina.
Since my pup has assumed the role of “alarm clock” as of late, the first thing I do is take him out. His name is Jaco, and he’s a giant schnauzer. The term comes from the German word for "snout" and colloquially means "moustache" or "whiskered snout", because of the breed’s distinctively bearded snout. We got him this past Valentine’s Day.
WHAT'S YOUR GO-TO RECIPE?
I have to admit, my husband does most of the cooking around here. I don’t really have a staple, but whenever I cook, I like to try something new. I will say that if you’re ever having company, just throw some butter and garlic in a pan and it will make the whole kitchen smell amazing. Everyone’s mouth will water.
WHICH RESTAURANT KNOWS YOUR TAKEOUT ORDER BY HEART?
This little sandwich shop by our house called Truffle Brothers. I’ve only ever ordered one thing off the menu, and I’ve ordered it many, many times.
WHICH HOUSEHOLD CHORES DO YOU SECRETLY ENJOY?
None really, but I love them all once they’re done and everything is organized. I do like polishing things and making them shiny again. It takes me ages to clean because I have to scrub all the little nooks and crannies, otherwise I’ll go mad.
HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
By sitting in my car for 20 minutes when I get home. Anyone else?
WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL VACATION?
One that I don’t have to plan.
WHAT DOES "PERFECTLY UNDONE" MEAN TO YOU?
|BRINLEY DRESS||MAXINE CAMI||FIONA TEE|
