Sweaters

We can’t tell you what to do, but put a sweater on. It’s cold out.

But before you do, opt for an ethical alternative, like organic cotton sweaters, alpaca sweaters, or brushed sweater knit. Durable, super soft fabrics that feel better on and do better for the planet, and pair well with other chic classics in your closet.

How do I care for my sweaters?

It depends on the fabric content of your organic sweater. Some need to go to an eco-friendly dry cleaner once a season, others can handle a machine wash and won’t shrink. Just remember to check the care label before wearing/washing.

Sweaters: Year-Round Comfort & Style

Our thoughtfully designed sweater collection features premium fibers and timeless silhouettes that transcend seasons. With attention to both comfort and structure, these pieces maintain their beauty through years of wear.

We don’t recommend hanging sweaters—ever. It can stretch out the shoulders and distort the shape over time. Instead, fold and store your sweaters flat, either on a shelf or in a drawer, to help them keep their structure and softness.

Yes, many sweaters can work for business casual—especially when styled with tailored pants or a skirt. Stick with clean silhouettes and neutral tones for a refined, easy look that works for meetings, office days, and everything in between.

Lay your sweater flat, fold in the sleeves, and bring the sides toward the center. Then fold it from the bottom up once or twice depending on drawer space. This keeps the shape intact and avoids stretching or misshaping the fabric.

Always store sweaters folded, never hung. Keep them in drawers or on shelves in a cool, dry space. If you're storing them for the season, use breathable storage bags and avoid overstacking to help preserve shape, softness, and structure.

Never machine wash—no matter the setting. Even “hand wash” cycles use too much water and can ruin the fabric. Instead, gently hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry. Skip the dryer entirely to preserve softness and shape.
